MARC ALAIMO
as Virgil Paris
A plant manager at Delaney Brands, sinister Virgil Paris was so evil he would have scared the hell out of Jack the Ripper. Arriving in 1972, Virgil precipitated all sorts of plant-related mayhem, including murder and an arranged "accident" that paralyzed production manager Rex Cooper.
In time, he became completely obsessed with Ginger Cooper, the married daughter of boss Leo. Despite Ginger's refusal to reciprocate his interest, Virgil continued his pursuit. In May 1973, he brutally raped her even though she was already pregnant. Three months later, Virgil was found shot to death in Ginger Cooper's apartment. No one was really surprised. The police arrested poor Ginger for the crime, but in an eleventh hour confession, Leo admitted that he had ordered a mob hit on Virgil in retaliation for Ginger's attack. However, the real culprit had been Ginger's mother-in-law Laura Cooper, who wanted revenge for Rex's paralysis.
